 La Dirección General de Investigación y Gestión del Plan Nacional de I+D+i, en su informe de seguimiento de los proyectos Consolider 2006, ha valorado muy favorablemente el desarrollo del Proyecto Intecat durante los tres primeros años de vigencia del proyecto en el marco del Programa Consolider Ingenio 2010.

A paper coauthored by Prof. Antonio M. Echavarren, recently published in Angewandte Chemie International Edition, has been highlighted in the last issue of Nature Chemistry.
The original article shows the group results in performing the total synthesis of englerine A (a potent inhibitor against renal cancer cells) from readily available precursors and using a cationic gold(I)-complex as catalyst.
